In accordance with the President H.E Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's special pledge to plant 5 million trees, agreements were signed with 10 island councils for the second round of establishing 20 nurseries across the Maldives. Under this project, the second-round nurseries signed are scheduled to be built in: HDh. Nolhivaram, ADh. Dhidhdhoo, F. Dharanboodhoo, Dh. Meedhoo, L. Hithadhoo, L. Fonadhoo, Fuvahmulah City, S. Meedhoo, GDh. Vaadhoo, and K. Himmafushi. This project is planned to bring government investment and opportunities for citizens of local islands.
